Reflection of the Course

*********************************************
(1) "What is a Blog??" -- Before taking this course, I've never created a Blog. I thought that a Blog is an on-line diary which can be viewed by others. Some Bloggers might create a blog not only for sharing of information, but also for making money (provided that the Blog can get a high hit rate).

After taking the course, I understand that educators have been exploring the use of Blogs in teaching and learning. (See: http://connect.educause.edu/blog) In fact, "Blogs" have already emerged in both school sector and higher education sector and many have tried integrated it in their curriculum.

(2) Learning Outcomes -- In addition to gaining experience in creating and maintaining a personal blog, I've learnt about how to create a simple digital photo story and how to create FLASH movies. Though I've already got some ideas in creating a Flash file before taking this course, the course allows me to have more practices on using the software and shows me some advanced techniques (like making a slider). The process of doing the final assignment (i.e. the interactive visual representation), though time consumming, is quite enjoyable and interesting!

(3) Classmates' Support -- Blogging provides a good channel for interaction (receiving & giving comments) of all classmates. In fact, many of their posted materials are very useful and their works are very creative. I've also learnt to create "more interactive" PowerPoint file after viewing their fascinating one.

Thank you so much for all!! ^_^
