Cool design... and great interactive illustration. Good if the less words could be used to represent the concept - it is more factual then conceptual as it is now.

I think your visual representation is very clear and pleasant to read, and that the interactive way of presentation is quite attractive.
I think it would be better if there is a "Back" button on the page showing the different layers of the Earth's atomsphere so that the viewers can click it when they want to see the front page again.
